We have fast Wi-Fi (1Gbps down, 500Mbps up) which we’ve tested with Netflix streaming on the Smart TVs in all three guest rooms and eight simultaneous YouTube videos on mobile phones. It works well but digital nomads should be aware that as we are located in a rural area, there are occasions where we may lose our fibre optic internet connection due to electrical storms or trees falling on power lines and cables. This happens only 2-3 times a year (and usually in the rainy season). So whilst our internet connection is fast, we cannot guarantee it is available 100 percent of the time. When we do lose the internet, it can sometimes take a day before it is restored, so reliability works out to be around 99.3 per cent on average.
We have two routers. The network named ‘NataiGarden’ serves the three guest rooms whilst ‘NataiGarden1’ serves the buildings opposite the bungalows. Guests are welcome to login to either network. The password is the same. The password is on the first page of the guest information book in the desk of each guest room.
